What can I expect for my intake? At your initial appointment, your clinician will gather information to establish a treatment plan tailored to your needs. The meeting length, type, occurrences, and purpose will be determined based on your unique circumstances.
How should I prepare for my intake? All clients are required to read, sign, and complete our intake forms, including a confidential questionnaire. Payment is due at the start of each meeting.

How often should I meet for therapy? Golden Hour Counseling offers flexible scheduling options. Depending on your needs, you can meet with your clinician weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. We recommend clients be seen at least once every three months to maximize the benefits of our services.
Appointments can be scheduled anywhere from a week to a month in advance, based on clinician availability and your agreed-upon meeting times.
How should I access telehealth meetings? For virtual appointments, we offer HIPAA-compliant Google Meets or Psychology Today. Before your telehealth session, you will receive an email with a meeting link. Simply click on the link at the time of your appointment to connect with your provider.
Does GHC accept health insurance? GHC is in partnership with and accepts all versions of Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts. We provide coded superbill receipts for clients who do not have BCBS MA and would like to submit to their provider for out-of-network coverage. Upon request, GHC will assist you with this process.
