Office Assistant

Hours: Hours begin at 15 hours per week in September, increasing to 25 hours per week come October.

Compensation: $16.50- $18.50 based on experience

We are seeking a friendly & organized in-person Office Assistant to join our team. Skills required include exceptional administrative support, greeting and assisting visitors, managing scheduling and correspondence, and helping maintain a welcoming office environment that aligns with our commitment to mental well-being. The schedule is somewhat flexible, with hours typically between 2 PM and 8 PM on weekdays, to accommodate both staff and client needs. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor are essential for supporting our staff and clients in a confidential and supportive setting.

Mental Health Clinician

For a provider of a diverse range of traditional therapy services to individual, group, family, and couples therapy, including Mandarin Chinese speakers, (Golden Hour Counseling, PLLC - Amesbury, MA):

Provide patient care under the supervision of mental health professionals; assist in implementing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques; support individuals in psychotherapy sessions; utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes; collaborate with clinical counselors to develop and implement treatment plans; work with pediatric patients to address their specific mental health needs; conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individuals' mental health status; provide counseling for individuals with chronic pain conditions; support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities; and implement behavioral therapy interventions to address specific challenges.

Requirements:

1. Master of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Counseling and Mental Health Services or a related field.

2. 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in Mental Health/Counseling. The required experience must include working with pediatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, and families. Experience can be gained while pursuing a degree.

3. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.

4. CPR certification.

5. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and psychotherapy approaches.

6. Knowledge of behavior management strategies and their application in a clinical setting.

7. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret assessment results.

8. Understanding of counseling techniques for individuals with chronic pain conditions.

Work Location: Amesbury, MA.

Hours: 40 per week - Monday through Friday.
