Community Artist Night Presents:
Adrienne Germaine
A Night of Resistance
At Golden Hour Counseling, expression has no limits. Sometimes, the Mental Health Journey lives through dance, art, and personal style. Every 3-4 months, we showcase local artists from our community and their work, which they graciously allow us to display on our walls. Our goal is to share dimensional expression with our clients, community, and friends alike. Artists are not charged to display their work and collect 100% from any sales.
This very special night showcases Resistance, by Adrienne Germaine. This display includes layers of fabrics, On Saturday, March 7th from 5-7 pm. This event will include a DIY Canvas Hourglass workshop, which will be shared with clients and attendees. This workshop encourages self-expression and RESISTANCE, an unwillingness to adhere. Light appetizers & mocktails will be served. This event is free to the community.
Cost: Free

Meet Adrienne Germaine
Adrienne is a mixed media artist whose practice centers on fabric and hand embroidery. Her work begins with the act of looking closely—at materials, at gestures, at the fragments that accumulate to form a whole. Through layering, stitching, and repair, she treats fabric as both surface and body, carrying traces of use, care, and endurance.
This body of work reflects on the pieces that make us whole, whether beautiful, broken, or quietly worn down. It explores feelings of being unseen and the weight of sacrifice, alongside moments of resilience, boldness, and strength. By slowing the viewer’s gaze, Adrienne invites attention to what is often overlooked, honoring both vulnerability and persistence as essential parts of becoming.
