Yoga for a Cause- Hurricane Milton Relief Fundraiser

Join Us for a Special Yoga Series to Support Hurricane Relief!

We are excited to announce six 1-hour long yoga classes in our Community Room, dedicated to raising funds for the American Red Cross in response to Hurricanes Milton and Helene. In collaboration with RISEilience, Amesbury 100% of the proceeds from these classes will go directly to aid efforts.

100% of proceeds​ raised from these classes will go directly to aid efforts​ for the American Red Cross in response to Hurricanes Milton and Helene. All levels are welcome to attend this event.

Class Schedule: 

​ 🧡 Monday, October 14th at 6 PM with Suzanne: Gentle Flow

  • Focus on slow, mindful movements and breathing techniques. It is often designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance flexibility. Unlike more intense yoga styles, gentle yoga flow emphasizes a soft approach to poses, allowing ease into each movement at your own pace.

​ ​ 🧡 Tuesday, October 15th at 10 AM with Ariel: Trauma Sensitive Yin Yoga

  • Trauma-informed approach, creating a safe environment for individuals who may have experienced trauma. This style is restorative, focusing on long-held, passive postures that target the connective tissues of the body, promoting both physical and emotional release.

​ ​ 🧡 ​ Wednesday, October 16th at 9 AM with Erika: Restorative Flow

  • Emphasizes gentle movement and mindfulness practices aimed at promoting relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being. Facilitate emotional and physical healing, allowing tension relief, balance restoration, and relaxation. This class includes restorative poses held for extended periods, guided meditation, and conscious breathing techniques that support a holistic sense of wellness.

​​ 🧡 Thursday, October 17th at 12 PM with Ariel: Vinyasa Flow to Yin Yoga

  • Trauma-informed approach, creating a safe environment for individuals who may have experienced trauma. This style of yoga begins active and ends restoratively, focusing on long-held, passive postures that target the connective tissues of the body, promoting both physical and emotional release.

​  🧡 Friday, October 18th at 3:30 PM with Courtney: Vinyasa Flow

  • ​Designed to be accessible and calming, emphasizing gentle movement and breath connection. This class includes an active sequence of postures that are linked together in a smooth, flowing manner. Focus on alignment, mindfulness, and relaxation.

​  🧡 Saturday, October 19th at 9 AM with Ariel: Vinyasa Flow

What to Bring:

​​ Yoga Mat​, water​, towel​, props 

What to Wear:

​​ Comfortable ​clothing​ with layers, no socks or nonslip socks, hair tie. Prepare these items before heading to class to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
